Water hydraulics

The roots of our passion for water hydraulics trace back to the 17th century when Blaise Pascal discovered and mathematically confirmed the hydrostatic principle. This marked the beginning of an era that laid the foundation for modern water hydraulics.

By 1860, England already had 1200 machines controlled by water hydraulics, including the most famous example of that time - the drive system of the Tower Bridge in London, a symbol of progress and innovation.

In 1950, Dr. Tiefenbach founded the Tiefenbach company in Essen. Since then, we have continuously evolved and become a leading name in the industry.

In 1997, the Tiefenbach company was carried on by former employees under the name FT-Tiefenbach GmbH. Their dedication and expertise significantly contributed to strengthening our position in the market.

On August 1, 2006, we underwent a rebranding, changing FT-Tiefenbach GmbH to Tiefenbach Wasserhydraulik GmbH. This change not only reflected our proud tradition but also our forward-looking approach, characterized by innovation and quality.
